About The Owner

LeeAnn Buckingham is the owner of Framer's Edge here in Okemos. LeeAnn and her husband, James, have four grown children combined: Craig, Jennifer, Laura, and Eric. LeeAnn has been a working artist for over 30 years and the sole owner of Framer’s Edge since it opened in 1998. She feels that it is really important to support the local artists by showcasing their work in her gallery. Lee Ann loves art, and she loves to share her passion with her customers. In fact, customer service is her driving motivation.

Awards and Achievements:

  • Received an Achievement Honor Roll Award in 2009 from the Michigan Commission for the Blind (Now BSBP)
  • Named Greater Lansing Woman magazine's 2010 Woman of the Year
  • Serves as state commissioner for BSBP (Bureau of Services for Blind Persons)
  • Member of the Meridian Business Association, Mid-Michigan Art Guild, Chamber of Commerce - Charlevoix

Regular Hours: Monday–Tuesday, 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. | Wednesday–Friday, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. | Saturday 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. | Sunday 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
