Andrea Jeris

Andrea spent a lot of time in the art museums in Detroit, Chicago, San Francisco, London, and Paris, where the art of Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, and John Singer Sargent really spoke to her, and greatly influences her work. She has worked in acrylic, oil, watercolor, and ink, but is now focused in oil paint. 

After an education in the Detroit area, Andrea headed for the golden state of California where she quickly developed a passion for painting outdoors, en plein air. Enjoying many years in the warmth of the sun, she returned to Michigan, this time in the Lansing area, for love of family. Back in Michigan and retired from a career in graphic design, she paints full time. Her paintings have won awards in local and regional competitions.
